I moved here at the end of May and at first I was like a turtle on a warm rock...it was great. I loved it. However, it's now the end of August and it's the first time my air hasn't been cranking all summer. Thank goodness, the end is finally near. Savannah needs a break.

I stepped outside a few minutes ago and realized that it's cooler outside than in. I'm leaving the windows closed to keep the humidity out, though.

The older I get the less I'm able to tolerate the heat. Mild is great but hot is not.

You ladies would hate it here. My girlfriend constantly opens windows throughout the house, even during record heat. She doesn't mess with the living room but every other window is forced open thus rendering my house intolerable at times.

*Sigh* We've got another month to go before we really start getting comfortable with less humidity. October is the month you really start noticing changes.
