Where's the best place to have a good southern breakfast in Savannah on a Sunday morning for a Family of 4?

By a good southern breakfast, you mean Grits, eggs, bacon or sausage, with , don't you? I'd say just about anywhere that serves breakfast. Even the fast food restaurants like McDonalds can come up with a decent pot of grits with eggs any style you want.

If you are staying anywhere near Clary's, that might be a good bet. People swear by Clary's.

I was down on the River this morning and noticed that Hughie's serves breakfast. It's sort of a New Orleans themed place that caters to tourists.

Personally, I like the Fire Fly Cafe (I guess that's what it's called these days) over on Troup Square. It's more for locals which means that there are fewer tables.

Hey, thanks to both of you. And yes, I do mean grits, pig, cakes and any thing else yall can come up with but I don't think I will do Micky D's. I prefer a spot were the locals go over mainstream.

Clary's is a great place to grab breakfast. Loved by both locals and tourist. Have two locations. Downtown and Midtown.
