Hey, im planning to move from Cleveland to either South Carolina or Georgia and am just looking for some advice since i only know one person down there so far and i have only been down there once but i have always wanted to move somewhere warmer and just go off on my own. I am planning on moving down there around February 16th or so. I will be living with my friend in Hardeeville, SC for a week or so while im looking for work and a decent place to live. I am 25, single, and looking for a city i can move to that has a decent job market and also a decent night life. Id like to be within an hour from the beach. I have a decent education and my associates. i know this question has probably been asked a lot but I've looked through other threads and cant find anything that really helped me a lot so i figured id make my own. Any advice will be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Bill

Don't know what kind of job you will be seeking, so it's hard to say which area would be best, but between Savannah and Hilton Head areas, you will be near a beach and the weather is good most of the time (the summer is deadly hot). We moved from Medina, OH and have not missed the winters at all.

I would be looking for either a factory job which is all i could find up here but it paid very well until i got laid off, or a truck driving job. But thanks both of you for the help. I wont be missing these winters either

not right now but ive been driving a 24ft box truck for 3 years and drove my friends semi once and could probably pass the test with some more practice
