My husband and I are in the beginning stages of looking for a place to relocate to (we're both from NJ). So far we've been looking into

Conyers
Covington
Crawfordville
Rome
Fayette

We really would like to move to a quite town, with old Southern Charm with affordable real estate (between 200k-300k). Good schools for when we decide to start our family, diverse (we are an interracial couple black/white) . Good jobs near buy I'm in the field of Criminal Justice & my husband is a technician for Verizon.

Thanks in advance for your help

I have spent time in Conyers, Covington, & Fayette. i would rule all three of those out as towns with southern charm.

Savannah is where I live and my family and I love it. It has the most charm of any town-city I have ever been too.

Madison, GA - Athens, GA area might be somewhere you want to check out also. Very beautiful area with a great southern charm feel to it.

Good Luck!
