Doesn't seem to work with SMN any longer.. Really hate that site with their full page notices to sign up and warnings as to how many views you have left. Guess I'm going to get a chair and read it down at Krogers near the exit door.

What I hate is that I actually pay for online access to SMN, and I still get asked EVERY time I visit the site to login. It's like they don't know about cookies. Or, customer service.

Same here. You'd think cookies or a "save password"

U-block is Ad-block on steriods but isn't as well known. U-block also is coded much better and draws a lot less CPU power and uses the same filtering database as adblock plus it allows you block elements a lot easier and remembers them.

I have to confess there are not enough SMN stories that interest me enough to make me WANT to read them. I glance across the headlines, and if the same exact story isn't being written up on the TV stations' websites, then I *might* click on an SMN story. So rarely does this happen, that I never go over my "allowed" limit.

My local paper's website here doesn't even give an allowed limit. Everything is behind a paywall, no exceptions even for public-safety/emergency type stories one would think they would give access to. So I guess we should be grateful SMN grants those few "freebies".

FYI -- the SMN website and print newspaper are both undergoing a massive redesign that's supposed to be launched sometime this spring and more user-friendly.
