Good day,

We are looking for recommendations for a one night stop near I95. We are not able to fit downtown Savannah in our itinerary this time, so we'd like to stay near the interstate.

We've run into some very questionable accommodations on previous trips up and down 95...looking for clean, well lit, pool is a nice plus.

Thanks in advance

What price are you willing to pay? There are dozens of very nice hotels at both the Pooler Parkway / Airport Exit and the GA 204 / Gateway Exit. Just take your pick.

The Holiday Inn at Exit 102 is also nice. The Pooler Parkway/Airport exit is good, some are a little more than others though.

I suggest the Wingate, which looks like it has indoor and outdoor pools, and have dinner at Sam Sneads.
Airport exit and turn right.

I just stayed this past weekend at the Holiday Inn Express by the Airport. Super clean, nice, good breakfast and with my AARP-it was $109. I stayed the last time over a Quality Inn in Pooler behind Cracker Barrel. They were doing upgrades and wasn't bad either-no gym at the hotel at the time though.

Most are good along the interstate. Let's make it easier and list the ones to AVOID: Red Roof Inn off Pooler Parkway, avoid all at Exit 102 (US-80), Avoid all on the WEST side of I-95 at exit 94. San's Boutique on the East side of I-95 has been renovating and I've heard mixed things about. But the rest of that area is pretty nice with LOTS of places to eat. Other ones to avoid are probably obvious when you get there. Finally at Exit 87, I'd avoid the EAST side. West side has some nice places, but there aren't very many places to dine at that exit.

Thanks for the replies...very helpful!
We'd like accommodations to be below 100$.
Looking forward to passing through your beautiful state. We hope our return trip north will allow us time to explore a bit more!
