Invest in a real estate pool of investors so that you would have greater purchasing power and property management. A way to get your feet wet before going on your own ... which btw is very difficult.

A key rule of real estate investing is the 10% rule. If you can't rent a property out for 10% of it's purchase price per year then it's not a good rental investment.
