What about Daffin Park area? I don’t know if that area has a name, but it always looks like a vibrant park and there seem to be nice neighborhoods nearby.

Any more information you could give me on this area? How is the overall COL for renters, is it close to the downtown area?

Also we would be willing to live closer to the coast instead of downtown if the COL was reasonable $1100 or lower.

Thank you all!

The coast is Tybee Island, the rest of the city is at least 8 miles from the ocean. This is due to all of the barrier islands and marshes.

$1100 isn't going to get you anything on Tybee unless it's a 1 bedroom.

We recently purchased a home in the Daffin Heights neighborhood. LOVE the location! 25-ish minutes to Tybee. 10-15-ish minutes to downtown. Close to Harry Truman Pkwy, grocery stores, restaurants, etc. Very quiet area. No clue about the schools - wasn't something we needed to research.
