I completely agree with the relief of heat directly on the water, but as you said, after it gets to be a certain temp, you can't really tell a difference.

I have grown up all my life in humidity (Alabama, Mississippi, and now Savannah), so I'm no stranger to it. However, people who do not know about how hot that it can FEEL will not be able to notice any difference between Rincon and most of the Savannah area except for when you catch a good breeze.

And since the OP is from Ohio, they will not be able to tell any difference between Rincon and any other outlying Savannah area.

Trust me its HOT and very HUMID! If you have lived in the North- Not north as in Savannah - Out of State North - you will need time to adjust. This time of the year is beautiful - perfect weather...

I agree.

I lived in Savannah for a few years and in mid July/August the heat/humidity was much more noticeable downtown.

You will definitely acquire a lighter wardrobe while living in Savannah.
