Pooler is in Chatham Co. Pooler has grown hugely and the majority of it is actually closer to Sav./Hilton Head Intl. Airport than Savannah is.

When you say Guyton, are you refering to the incorporated area or the zip code. Three quarters of Effingham County uses the 31312 zipcode. You mentioned the historic home price tags. They are not as high as one would think. There are many new subdivisions in the area and most are only minutes to Savannah. So you get the larger lots in subs and larger land tracts outside of the subs and still are close to just about everything you could want. From the city limits to the rec center is only a 5 minute drive. Rincon is about 13 minutes and Springfield 7. I would love to hear from you on why you wouldnt like the rural atmosphere.
