I went last year and they had taxi's fixed at $10 a ride...Are they doing that this year the weekend before? Also what is the distance they're allowed to travel? Will they go to garden city or pooler for $10? Want to book a cheap room on hotwire or priceline and suspect I may get a room at one of those locations... :/

Too late for a "cheap room". I can't imagine a taxi will take you to Pooler for $10. Go to www.savannahnow.com & check out their St. Pat's info.
