I am stationed at Ft. Stewart but the wife and I enjoy the savannah area so I decided to suck up that decent drive in the mornings and live here.

We stopped at a little shop on tybee island and noticed they rent surfing boards, is there surfable waves at tybee beach? I have never surfed before but want to try.

We also where looking for some good places to visit on the weekends, we visited a outland zoo a couple weeks ago but was looking for a larger zoo if there is one near the area.

Also I am wanting to rent a charter to do some shark fishing, anyones I should steer clear of or you would recommend?

The nearest large zoo would be at Jacksonville Fla. There is a wildlife center with some wild animals at Oatland Island on the way to Tybee, but I don't think you could call it a zoo.
