What about gelato?? There is a place (tried it once - not bad) in Pooler off of 80 called Mr. Koolz. I don't know the name of the shopping center (sorry), but there is also an asian buffet and a hobby train store there. It is east of the Pooler Parkway. Anyway, it was pretty good. The lady that owns it is a local and makes all of the gelatos herself. They have both candy and fruit flavors.

I agree...there isn't much of a selection for ice cream here. I miss Bruester's and Graeter's. Graeter's is an Ohio chain...YUM!

Good luck on your quest!

If Gelato is your thing, there is a place across from Wild Wings in the City Market. We've had it once and it was tasty (although pricey).

Gelato is good but it is not the same as soft serve. I'll check out Tybee although that is a bit of a drive for an ice cream cone...

Don't have pictures but it is not a nice looking place. I've always found that it is not the cleanest place around either. But they do have good milkshakes, icecream, burgers, etc.

I believe they have a Taylor machine.
That's where the best soft serve comes from.

FFG3 - Thnx for the input.

Mystery250 - Thnx for the pictures. The place looks pretty nice. Did anyone notice the price difference for the breakfast? It must go up on the weekends! How is the breakfast?

Just Plain AL - Learned something new about soft serve ice cream today, thnx for the tidbit about Taylor.

That is where I visited but she has supposedly moved to Savannah. Somewhere near Broughton, I think around more tourist traffic
