This must be the deepest darkest secret in all of internetdom, but I was wondering earlier how the simple little tin foil pie dishes are made.

The term 'dish' is a bit extreme for those little single apple pies bases etc. but it seems to be the only term I could find that comes close.

Because of the folding around the curved edges these little items are not extruded, and also I wonder how the edges are folded over when the dishes are round in shape?

Anyone involved in the manufacture of these?

Ta,
Lou

First they obtain the aluminum from tinflolius hatius an animal know to reside in basements. It's a relatively harmless and unintelligent animal but can be very dangerous to themselves when cornered.

Wow, harry, thank you so much! I've ordered a paper copy of the book to have a proper read through.

May the humble pie tray have it's hour of fame!
