I had an idea back in 2015 for a product which I thought was ingenious at the time. The product was dental adhesive remover. There is nothing out there to help with the dreaded end of day removal of this pink ectoplasm from gums. I stand at the sink for hours removing DA. I use spoons, potato graters, fingernails, butter knives, whatever is smooth and rounded or beveled. Many times I've scratched the roof of my mouth, which turns into a 3-4 day wait to wear dentures again.
I did a little survey of people with dentures, and it turned out, I was not alone in my situation. They were fed up with the monotonous ordeal too. People said they would pay as much as $25.00 for a product which at least speeded up the process by liquefying the cellulose gum based adhesives.
I thought " Oh boy, what about a natural food product which dissolves cellulose gum"?
I've been researching scientific webpages for three years now, and I know there's no organic food product which does that. I'm ready to throw in the towel. This is one last ditch attempt to see if there is any way to make this product. I think cellulose gum is not dissolvable. If uou think I've given out TMI, you are right. I thought "what if it is stolen from me?" What if it is? I need help right now, and this is it. I'm at the end of my intellectual rope with this idea. I have learned SO MUCH in the last three years, I get headaches now. Just a little advice from a real smart chemist is all I'm seeking. In my heart, I know I don't possess the ability to make a remover. I was unknowing.
Have you contacted the company that makes the product you use and ask them how to get it off?
Once sold, they will not be so enthusiastic about serving you.
