"Babies born during winter are at a higher risk of developing mental health disorders"

On the other hand:

"Why many Olympic athletes have early birthdays"
https://www.sciencenewsforstudents.o...arly-birthdays

I.e. having a kid in winter is worse for mental health but better for athleticism.

I suppose you could start conceiving a kid around April-May then head south for the winter until your kid is born.

Hmm, now I wonder how many mass murderers were born during winter? Or lived in houses with leaded pipes?

I liked my babies to arrive in spring when you didn’t have to bundle them up for winter. That worked 2 of the 3 times.

As close to the end of the year as possible to claim the kid as a dependent for that entire year. Front loaded benefit.

I think summer / fall is better being pregnant.
Hard enough being pregnant without having to manage walking on ice, or snow covered cars...

Maybe if you lived in a northern climate. There's plenty of places in the US that get little to no ice and snow each winter. From the women I know who have been pregnant, most hated being pregnant in the summer, especially when it's crazy hot and humid, no bueno!
