Freeman Dyson, one of the great 20th Century thinkers of science and mathematics, has died at the age of 96.

He was a brilliantly innovative man whose ideas defined thinking out of the box. I think he should be mentioned right up there with people like Richard Feynman and Alan Turing.

I loved his thinking on the Dyson sphere. Brilliant man, but 96 is getting up there. RIP.
