Best ear protection for noisy data center (buy, price, issue)

Hello. I'm working as a data center technician. My company only provides basic earplug to reduce the noise. I'm willing to pay for a good headset to protect my ears. What is the best noise deadening headset/earphone I can buy from amazon? Price is not an issue. Thank you.

I’ve had good luck with the Bose 700. They have a good battery life and were a lifesaver when there was nonstop construction going at my apartment in 2019-2020. The only downside to them that I see is that the case is huge, but that’s really only a consideration if you are using them primarily for travel.

Well, for straight hearing protection you'll want to check out David Clark Company of Worcester, Mass. They make the headsets used on the flight line.

If you want more fancy and less protection consider the various generations of Bose Quiet Comfort units. I've had mine for about 15 years and have been very pleased. The noise cancellation is not exactly the same as hearing protection but of course it does offer a dB reduction.

You can turn off the noise compression and have straight hearing protection. I also double up the Classic 3M ear plugs.
