If you have old 12ax7 or 5751 vacuum tubes to sell please message me.

I am working on some electronics projects and would like find some old
tubes so I can see if I can get some of these things working again.

Thanks

Old audio amps?

If you can't find any sooner, good bet is a hamfest. Next one in the Denver area is Aug 16. See Denver Radio Club Annual Hamfest Information

IIRC, after tubes were no longer made in the U.S., there were Russian tubes that were being sold. You might still be able to get some of those. Otherwise, hamfests are the best bet. My dad had a huge number of tubes, some even in a logoed RCA tube caddy the size of a suitcase.

A couple of 12AX7s and a pair of push-pull 6L6 or two, you could make a Fender amp. The expensive parts were the power transformers.

You might check and see if there are any radio/tv repair shops in your area. Many of them are 1 person shops operated in their garage. You would be surprised the stuff they hang onto.

Is this a commercial post?

Great quality 12ax7 and 5751 vacuum tubes are currently being made by Sovtek and JJ among others.

I pay about $10 to 15 dollars for them for my guitar amps. But people who have old tubes they might sell you should know that vintage tubes are worth 20 times that much.

As a courtesy, I'll sell you a Sovtek 12ax7 from my supply for $10 IF YOU REALLY NEED ONE FOR A PROJECT...but a vintage tube will be $200 or more.
