hi everyone! We finally decided on Carter county for the beauty!! I just bought an ipod, and i dont know how to get the setup assistant to come up. Do you have any recommendations on where to go to find out. I know you all think its silly, but it is driving me mad!! We really do live in the sticks, and dont know anyone yet. thanks alot!!

Have no advice, don't even know what an ipod does except plays music, but Versitile, OMG, you cracked me up with your comment. Thank you much for making me smile today!!! I love a witty answer that doesn't offend. Great stuff....

my soon to be high schooler is bugging me like crazy for one of these so I might as well get in the game and try to figure out what this Ipod thingy is all about. I don't know if this helps or not but:

I'm not sure what the setup assistant is, but if you install the newest version of iTunes it should take care of everything.

I'm not a big fan of iTunes though, I prefer Xplay2 which just syncs your iPod with the "My Music" folder in Windows.

Limewire in itself is not illegal. But what you use it to do is. If you download any copyrighted music, program, etc.. Without prior consent then it is theft and is illegal. And you can have the RIAA becoming unhappy with you.

The RIAA tends to be unhappy with people who distribute files. The 'seeders' is the term, and the 'leechers' tend to fly under the radar.

But, it is a risky business.
