I live in Miami and spent a month in Seattle last summer. In fact, I plan on returning this summer for hopefully longer than a month. Summers are beautiful in Seattle. I have never been there in the winter or spring though. I am curious because Seattle is an area of interest for me to relocate to. Seattle area is not my #1 choice, but it is among my top choices. However, the pay, availability of jobs just seems so much better than other areas that I like outside of Florida.

I have been in Seattle for a little under 3 weeks. So far, I absolutely love it! The people are friendly (at least, in my opinion they are...seems many others think differently), the city itself is extremely walkable, and I think the general feel of the city is a lot more laid-back than those on the East Coast. People here are a lot more educated and intelligent than many that I came across in South Florida, which is a huge plus. What are your other choices for relocation? I will say that if you LOVE Florida, you may find it difficult to adjust here. There were a lot of things that really annoyed me about Florida (quite frankly, the only plusses for me were living on a condo directly on the beach, and being able to frequent Key West), so making the move wasn't terribly difficult for me.
