Hi,
I'm moving to Seattle in August for work, and I'm starting to look for an apartment/condo in the Bellevue/Cap Hill areas. I'm hoping to find an area with more 'people like me' (see below), since I will need to make new friends
I'm willing to pay up to $1500 for a really good place,
Couple questions.
1. What website(s) would you suggest for apartment/condo hunting? The ones I found on Google tend to only have a couple of listings.
2. Is there a service that will check out the apartment and take care of paperwork for out-of-towners? (i.e. a real estate agent that deals with thos sort of thing?)
3. Are property prices in Seattle rising?
4. Long shot, but does anybody know how property taxes etc. work out if I'm not a US citizen and choose to buy a place in Seattle? Looking at some listings it might be cheaper for me to mortgage than to rent.
