I've been searching and searching for an apartment complex or landlords who all do background checks and they all say no exceptions. I got a Violation of No Contact Order conviction last year cause I dropped some of my ex wife's belongings on her driveway with an attached note that basically said i was sorry for breaking something. I served my time, paid my fines, and don't have any plans on breaking it or desires of communicating w/ my ex wife again. I just want to know if anyone out there knows of a place that will rent to me w/ this conviction. I am a good tennant i've never missed a payment, never been evicted... I just want to move away from the setting i live in now.

Please help me out,

Fill out the applications without mentioning the misdemeanor. If the agent says there's a problem, ask if $100 will make it go away.

Try the Alps Hotel in the International District.

I agree with Woof. Seattle has the highest concentration of sex offenders in the US (specifically the Capital Hill neighborhood). They are all living in apartments...I don't think you will have a problem.
