Hello everyone. I just received an offer to work for Boeing in June (YAY!) and I will be working in Everett.

I was reading some threads on here stating that you can take the 510/512 bus to Everett if you live in North Seattle. If I would be able to do this, it will be great as I don't have a car.

Can anyone tell me what are some apartments/neighborhoods in the N. Seattle area? Public transpo/walk friendly in particular?

I'm not sure if this helps, but I am a late 20's female with no children or husband/bf and no pets. I don't like to go out every night but I do like to go to the bar or lounge on occasion.

Congrats on the offer. Besides North Seattle, you might also want to consider Mukilteo. I'm pretty sure there is mass transit from Mukilteo to Boeing, and Mukilteo is a nice place to live.

Congrats on the new job! I have friends who work in Boeing at Everett too. Shoreline will be a pretty good option, with quite decent and safe residential areas, but I guess if you don't prefer driving, the commute is way too long. I'm afraid that you may have to consider driving so that you may have more flexibility.

Hope it helps!

Hello Michael . Thanks for the heads up about Mukilteo. I read about this place.
