Hey folks,

I'm staying in West Seattle this summer and have tickets to a day game at Safeco. I am assuming that parking for a day game will be really tight. What would be the best way to get there otherwise? Taxi? Bus (probably). If I took the bus, how long would it take. Any other suggestions? - TIA

The water taxi terminal is less than a mile from Safeco. I love the idea of it, too. If I ever move to West Seattle I think I'll spend more time downtown because of that water taxi.

I would imagine there is probably a bus faster than the water taxi, because the water taxi leaves from around Salty's (where to park down there? or take the bus there?) and goes to the Seattle waterfront, then you'd have to get to Safeco. There is probably a bus that drops you off pretty close to The Safe. Check here: Metro's Online Trip Planner

Specifically, you want the RapidRide C line. It fills up fast at certain times of the day! RapidRide - King County Metro Transit

Or Metro's #50 bus. Takes about 15-20 minutes and gets you closer to Safeco Field.
