Seattle Jets, and while we're a non traditional market, we do support 2 WHL teams up here (Everett and Seattle). I think we could do it... Plus eff it, Im selfish, give me a hockey team!

Thats not a bad name, i found out "Sounders" is taken so i was thinking something like Boeings or Aeros since there is the Airplane factory there. The question is, would it be allowed since there was once the "Winnipeg Jets"?.

I guess it's true. Seattle could get an NHL team if it tried hard enough. Yes Vancouver would fight it, but Vancouver is in another nation, a nation I may add, that hockey is very popular. There are many hockey fans in Seattle who see the games in Vancouver, so maybe Seattle can tap into that fan base.
