I'm looking extensively to find someone willing to gift/share/loan/sell us some seed starter for my son's school project. I'm not allowing him to buy new materials (for many reasons) and challenging him to find what he needs without spending money. I've tried a couple of my facebook sharing/selling networks and Craig's list. Do any of you know what other local resources we haven't tapped into yet? Gardening groups for example? Thanks!

freecycle?

What do you mean by seed starter? The plastic trays, or the peat pods/substrate as well?

Are you a member of Freecycle? I am in the Easy King County group and sometimes see that kind of thing being offered.
