Hi!
This is my first post here, and I hope someone can help me. One of my relatives died last year and his will assigned me to be the executor of the estate. Can someone tell me how I can find a competent commercial real estate broker to sell a property in Seattle? Here's my situation:
1. I live about 300 miles from Seattle.
2. The property is in a good location and it should sell quickly if I can let the right party know of its availability.
3. There is a structure on the property, but the real value of it is the land itself. That's why contacting a commercial real estate broker may be one of the options I should pursue.
However, if I can get a list of reputable investment firms and developers in the Seattle area, I wouldn't need a broker to find them for me. This would be my preferred option.
I'm not looking for someone from this forum to offer their services to help me. I am looking for well- established firms for which I'll be able to carefully check out their references.

Look to one of the big commercial firms which can be found on line. One that immediately come to mind is Kidder Mathews. I have always referred my clients to them as they have a great reputation and do a lot of business in town. On their website they list each of their Seattle brokers and what their commercial specialty is.

Hope this helps.
