Can anyone who uses high school/qualified babysitter for occasional evenings or weekend nights out, comment on what they pay hourly for their sitter? In this case, for 3-7yr olds

Well here in Seattle my 14 year old makes $15/hour for similarly aged kids. She has first aid, babysitter course etc.

Wow, maybe I've got a bargain? (though my friend said it was the "normal" price and what she pays her sitter): $8 and hour, high schooler, with first aid cert. Two kids as well, same age range. She set the price, I just went along with it.
