Amazing what a Superbowl victory will do for you. The Hawks will be on NBC's Sunday Night Football 3 times in 2014, and once on ESPN's Monday Night football.

Here is the schedule:

Seahawks 2014 schedule release: Open vs Packers, Broncos in Week 3, 49ers on Thanksgiving - Field Gulls

That's the media's typical East Coast bias for you. I doubt that anyone here is too surprised.

Well, I remember years not too long ago when no Seattle games were shown nationally. So I'll take four, and that first one is a biggie, usually with a concert before the game and a lot of hype. Plus, NBC can use their flex schedule to move stuff around and add an additional Sunday night game during part of the season.

We got pretty much the worst schedule possible. Bye in week four, five of the last six games are for the division (4 games vs Arizona and SF), and we get only three days (after an Arizona game) to prepare for the first 49ers game, which happens to be a Thursday Night Football TV game at SF's new stadium. We then play them again just two weeks later.

We got completely hosed.

I see your point, but don't agree completely. The NFL does like parity, and perhaps SEA got slighted with fewer big national games at home, where SEA usually wins. However, good teams overcome these obstacles, and if you look at the overall NFL sked, many other teams were given harder schedules than the Hawks. I guess it is somewhat relative, as SEA is now the target, but kinda comes with the territory when you win the Super Bowl. (BTW, a thanksgiving night game for the Hawks is huge, I don't care where it is played...it will be one of the highest rated games of the year, as long as SEA and SF are winning, which we all assume will continue).

I guess. But as a fan, you can't tell me you aren't excited to watch those games. Seattle is the team to beat- and the Hawks will rise to the challenge!
