Moving to Kirkland, WA Area

Yes, wages are higher as is the minimum wage (highest in the nation of any state). Kirkland is surrounded on all sides by the water and Seattle to the west, Wodinville & Bothell north, Bellevue south and Redmond to the east. This is not a low cost area so you have to pay to live there...nowhere in the south would be as expensive.

I drive from Edmonds to Kirkland once a week and do it in about 25-30 minutes, no matter the timing (morning, midday or afternoon). Lynnwood is a little closer, so maybe a 20-minute drive?
