Is there housing around 1,200 for 4 bedrooms near Seattle/Tacoma that is in a nice area and the house isn't delapitated thanks!

Around Seattle, that's about the average for a studio now, possibly one bedroom apartment. For a 4 bedroom house I have not seen anything, nice or otherwise under about $2,800. You might find something for $1,500 in Tacoma.

Maybe, but it's probably going to be a long ways out. There are some newer neighborhoods in places like Puyallup where hundreds of newer houses were foreclosed then turned into rentals. $1200 is on the low end, definitely. Some of those homes were resold for $150K or so, which means you may be able to find a LL renting them around $1200/mo - but that's more what you'd pay for an older 2 bedroom in a lower demand area.

There are some nicer (ie not bad) areas with lower cost rentals, however they're not usually close to job centers.
