We do a pre-school co-op four days a week near Green Lake. Every neighborhood has one and they are great. Looks into West Seattle's. There are a million other activities for little kids around here, more than one could ever do. Go to Red Tricycle and join the email list.

Bright Water on Capitol Hill is much closer to you in West Seattle. Seattle Waldorf, a different school, is NE Seattle off of Lake City Way. At Bright Water, ask for Jayasri Ghosh, PhD, the head of school, tell her I sent you. We are Vince and Danielle, parents of a fourth grader. It is a great place, here is a message from Jayasri: http://www.brightwaterschool.org/message-head-school/

You can also go to Freddie's and pick up a free copy of ParentMap, which is a local parenting resource. They're usually by the entrance. They usually also come with a brochure of all the private schools in the areas. They also have a website, which you can check out your entertaining and educating options in the area.
