Hello,

I have found a rental unit near the intersection of Denny Way and Warren Ave and was wondering what the neighborhood is like. Is the area safe? Is it considered Belltown or Lower Queen Anne? How is the area compared to the Greenlake neighborhood in terms of safety, cleanliness, and walkability (my top three criteria)?

Thank you!

That's basically on the edge between Belltown (south of Denny) and Lower Queen Anne/Uptown (north of Denny). It is busy traffic-wise, but is generally safe - the less safe areas of Belltown are closer to Downtown.

You'd be close to the Seattle Center (across the street), Olympic Sculpture/Myrtle Edwards Park. The #8 bus (on Denny) takes you to Capitol Hill.

Thank you for the reply. I made a trip to the area yesterday to check it out myself and decided to pass on the unit.
