Hi NW wood elfs.

I live in Northgate, Seattle.

I need to trow away my old mattress and screen board.
I dont have a track.

How can i trash it for free or for cheap?
Matress probably cannot be donated because it has some coffee spots.

Throw it in the woods next to the freeway? Some homeless dude will probably appreciate it.

You'd be surprised what you can give away on craigslist/freecycle.

Doubt there is a way to legally throw away a stained used mattress. Either give it away (put a mattress cover on it), or tie it to the roof of your car and haul it to a transfer station.

That costs $22. Though if you're really stingy you could probably pay someone $5 to toss it on their load if they're under the 320lb limit.

Buy a new mattress from a store that will take your old mattress for free at the time of delivery.
