Auburn to S. Bellevue, which is my commute, is 30 miles, so Auburn to Redmond would be more like 40 miles, not 20.

It's not bad for me since I start work at 5 AM, but there has been a definite degradation in the traffic on the way home in mid-afternoon. As the economy gets better, traffic gets worse. Newcomers are not comfortable driving 60 mph on the 405 S-curve so there is always a slowdown there. Truckers increasingly block the left lane, They're doing a bunch of work on 167 as we speak, which will probably mean increased congestion once it's done given the modus operandi of WSDOT.

I 100% agree with the truckers. What ever happened to a trucker following the rules of the road....especially those for big rigs? As a daily commuter to Seattle from the south end, I get these truckers staying in the left lanes now on a daily basis. Most of them can't even keep a constant speed and it's tough to get around them. Half the time they are swerving in the lane and almost side swiping you....as I am guessing these fools are texting or staring at some gizmo when they should be focusing 100% on the road. They honestly freak me out. Truckers USED to be some of the safest drivers on the road.....not so much anymore.
