I'm moving to the Seattle area, and I'm looking for a good school district for my teenager. Low crime, "nice, clean, solid" school. I really don't care about the academic rating. I just want it to be "safe" and not one of the three thousand student mega-schools.

I'm open to areas. People tell me Sumner is good, and then again--people say Pulyalup is good. At this point I have no clue...

help? I'm transferring to Federal Way...

Bellevue's High schools are rated as Newsweeks top 200 high schools for the 4th year in a row. They have just remodeled Newport High School so it will definitely be clean! The eastside of Seattle will typically have the best schools. All the neighborhoods are very safe. Click here to visit the website Home : Bellevue School District.

I have not heard of any great things about Puyallup or Sumner school districts. Most people around the area know that the eastside schools are typically the best.
