Vintage trolleys from Seattle arrive in STL | KSDK.com

Yeh, that's sad, I always hoped they would someday return to service and Ira would go back as a driver so I could ride with him.

A couple of the streetcars remain. Rumor has it that they'll move for the time being to Arlington There's a retired METRO Executive Director, Tom Gibbs, who is heading up some group like "Friends of The Benson Trolleys.", who is raising money to incorporate them into one of the other streetcar lines like South Lake Union, or the line they're planning on 1st Avenue. I think it probably won't happen, but I wish him the best of luck.
