So here's my situation, I have the money, but I don't yet have a job secured. Most apartments, if not all. Require income verification. Now I live in Georgia and it seems most companies may not hire a non local address. So that being said, I may have to go for broke and move on up there. I've looked on craigs list and even people renting out rooms require someone to be working upon moving in.

So what options are there for someone who needs short term residence or a place to stay while getting a job so that I can then get my own place?

I know there are extended stay hotels, but we're looking at a min. of $2000/mo. Even then I'd have to rent storage space to keep my stuff while I wait, not keeping it all in my Blazer... that wouldn't go well.

So looking for any info or recommendations!

Thanks!

Maybe look for a room in private home. I see them occasionally on facebook groups.

On a short term basis, there's always one of the hostels near the Pike PLace Market, City Hostel and Green Tortoise. Clearly not luxurious, but they frequently deal with travelers. So they don't care if you have a job. And they're relatively cheap,
