Stumbled across this video and found it pretty intriguing. Thought I'd share here for anyone else fascinated by this sorta stuff.

It has some nice historical photos and details on how Snoqualmie Pass formed. Also talks about I-90 and the subduction zones a bit.

Ha! I thought you were asking about Snoqualmie Pass and I thought, I have the perfect youtube video!

His collection of videos is awesome and I highly recommend watching all of them.

Right on, I just watched his video on how Seattle was formed, and he talks about what's underneath CenturyLink Field. Pretty scary. Too bad he didn't talk about Bertha though.

This one has some visualizations of the Seattle Fault.



I promise, this is not a promotion or anything (don't know this guy) but just wanted to share with fellow Seattleites. There's a part of my brain that's sated by this sort of thing. This is the last one I post.

Thanks so much for posting these videos. I'm moving to south First Hill in 2 weeks, just east of I-5. It's good to know I won't be living on the original water line and all that fill.
