Trump has zero chance in Seattle. You'll be able to count on your fingers the precincts he wins in the city proper (with enough fingers left to be smoking at the same time).

The vast majority of actual 'votes' in any U.S. natuonal election are effectively wasted, as will be all Trump votes in Washington State.

That is simply the case when you're a "republic" and not a pure democracy.

(perhaps most amusing is that the question was posed {seriously}...)

Here local headquarters is quite remote to the middle of downtown Seattle.

This is such a wildly unsupportable conclusion with no basis whatsoever.

And now I will show you 18 minutes of Trump supporters being berated, harassed, and violently attacked. Nice try, though.

This post is going to quickly become irrelevant in regards to Seattle and just dilute itself into a banal political spat.

Of course he can't win here. This is a real city filled with intelligent people.

Republicans in Seattle tend to be college educated, have some belief in science, etc. That's not Trump's demographic.

As for tolerance, we're generally tolerant of anything except intolerance. Being tolerant means supporting groups that people like Trump attack. (I'm not 100% PC but it's still true.)

Hmmm, this is an interesting article, Seattle residents cheering a republican candidate for governor at a city council meeting, and calling for a democrat councilman to be recalled. Makes me wonder if there is some change, however small in the wind.

Ugh, I can't read the article (I hit a paywall).

I will say this (not being able to read the article).. we need to do something about the homeless. If it's the liberal camp enabling the problem to persist then I would like to hear what the local Republicans have to say about remedying the issue.

I'm not voting for Trump but I know some who are. It's their choice. I see a lot of very scathing stuff on the net denigrating anyone who votes for Trump. I'm not down with that. It's best to just say, "Here're my disagreements..."
