Coming home on the Ferry it was easily spectacular. On Whidbey it was even more so. Had to put the dog under the covers. A real treat and no trees were hit.

It was great! I usually only get to see lightning like that when visiting family on the east coast (Boston area).

Sometimes I kind of wish we would get more storms like that here, lol.

It was crazy and unfortunatley I had to I5 through Seattle when it was at it's peak. Was cruising 60 when the lightening was hitting and sky's opened up. Stopped traffic to a crawl (for good reason!)

I wish I had the chance to enjoy from the comfort of my home.
I'm 53, grew up Puget Sound, and don't recall ever seeing it that spectacular.

I got drenched as we were running from an Italian restaurant to our car. I was so busy talking at dinner that I wasn't paying attention to the lightning until my husband started commenting. Then, I started enjoying it. One of our neighbors left her poor dog out in the rain and we took it in and left a note for her. She didn't even bother picking up the poor pooch until Sunday morning! I wish I could have kept him - a lovely border collie who did not enjoy the rain or lightning at all!
