Indeed. We all need to relax about things we have no control about. Yes, prepare for the next big quake, but preparation is all you can do. If you live on the coast, you need a plan. If you live anywhere, you need a plan. But in the end, nature will be the winner.

Yes, this has been pointed out before on other threads. I totally agree. The region is too valuable to not spend billions on rebuilding. Of course, this event has not occurred yet, and as I like to say it could be tomorrow or not in our lifetimes.
