Wanna know something interesting about me? I like snow. I like snow in Seattle.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not thrilled about snow in APRIL! But I like the change. It's always so dreary here for me, that when it snows the change seems to empower me.

Looks like grilled cheese sandwiches and tomato soup are on the menu at our house this weekend.

It rarely snows even in Janurary and February, so this is bizarre to say the least. They said it would be a record in the Seattle area for spring snow to occur on April 18th. We are definitely having some wacky weather so far this year.

Wow, snow in April. My hubby would love that.

I adore grilled cheese and tomato soup--yes, comforting! I use a multigrain bread, organic cheddar, and Amy's organic cream of tomato soup. Mmmmmmmmmmmmmm. It's like having one's mom alive and well and hugging one again.

When was the previous last "latest snow" for Seattle, anyone know?

Mirtika<--boning up on the region in case we move there in July/Aug

*sigh* Um, in April, most folks are ready for SPRING. You know, that's when the SUN actually comes out to visit us for several days in a row. And it actually goes above 60 degrees. Imagine that!

We just had hail and a bit of a wintry mix that stuck a bit to the trees here in Bonney Lake, but now the sun is out and blinding, go figure.

I love the snow, made a pot of chili tonight with a loaf of sourdough bread for dinner, yummmm

I'm more than ready. Snow is nice, but I've had enough winter.

After 21 years in Washington (the majority in Seattle), I'm done with this weather and the average of 227 days of clouds, rain or snow.

At 6:30PM, snow in lots of places, coating I-5 south of Everett... This is too weird!!
