How could anyone possibly know? How would we know? Perhaps you should direct your question to the CDC or the WHO, but even they don't know. Have you literally not "seen" your gf in over a month, or are you FaceTiming with her? Or do you mean, you're frustrated at not having met with her in person?

Is this about your being in LA, OP, and unable to return to Seattle? You could still make the drive, if you want to. Motels are open, grocery stores en route are open, restaurants are open for business, for take-out. And there won't be much traffic; it could be a good time for a drive. But everyone's in the same boat; you should see the Relationships forum right now (or maybe you shouldn't, haha); people are asking how to date, or if it's ok to date, during the quarantine, and they're not getting supportive answers. It's a national emergency, for heaven't sake.

Try not to stress out. Go out and take a nice walk in the sun. We all need to be sure to get sun daily, to boost our immune systems with Vitamin D. And the fresh air and exercise can do wonders to pick up our spirits. I've been getting out regularly, as a sort of tonic. It's very helpful.

If the mortality and confirmed infection rates keep falling the way they have, my guess is we will return to limited group sizes after May 4 with mask & temperature checking advisories still in place.

Not on May 4th.

There will probably be at least one more extension put in place, and then we might begin to see a gradual phase-out of restrictions. But "back to normal" is not happening any time soon.

We may begin to see some non-essential businesses re-open in June, albeit with restrictions/distancing guidelines in place. But I wouldn't hold my breath on it.

All major events for 2020 that would draw large crowds (sports, concerts, conventions, etc.) are as good as cancelled for the year IMO.
