Posted to balance reports, as the Governor has relaxed some portions of the stay at home and it is reported that numbers admissions to ICU's are declining.

At Swedish ICU and the two direct step down units ALL are full. When a patient is discharged another takes the room. 70% of these admissions are rule out Co Vid 19. Approximately 50% are positive for the illness. About 40% of those are critically ill.

Be careful out there.

As usual your experience isn't convincing me of anything. Especially when you preface it with "At Swedish.."

I had been a patient in the Swedish system for a number of years. I never could get in to see my doctor. It was always a 4-6 week wait or I was given the option to head over to urgent care. What a bunch of crap.

I made the decision to switch to Virginia Mason in January after, again, being told I'd have to wait a month to see my doctor, and I got in to see my new doctor the very next morning. I got full lab work including a mammogram.

What aspects of stay-at-home have been relaxed?

It will be interesting to see if there's a surge of cases a few weeks from now.

Several weeks ago real estate agents were allowed to continue their work under very tight restrictions. Same for the contractor that came out to repair a leak in our roof.

But this poster makes it sound like we're all in the streets high five'ing each other.

The thread does not have a purpose to impress but to inform.

Not sure why OP is being doubted or attacked, this is a time when there’s no such thing as too much information, the more the better.

Thanks AADAD

People have normal fears and denial is a way to deflect the fear. You are welcome Sir.

The information should be presented without a filter and balanced. The author has a propensity towards one or the other. I suggest you look at the other threads before making insinuations.
