This really saddens me. My great great grandparents moved to Seattle before it became a state. They helped Seattle rebuild after the big fire of 1889. What would they think of the modern city?

Was it Komo that produced the Seattle is Dying documentary? If yes, they seem to be the most conservative local news channel. I don't think any other local news channel is really pushing the issue.

Sinclair owns KOMO. Google them.

I'd watch it, but I know it is done by the same guy who does those puff piece "human interest" stories about random people, and he takes forever to make a single point while trying to make it as emotional as possible. Give me facts and figures, events and causes, not two hours of waffling about people's stories.

No, please say more.
Everything in this KOMO report is accurate and spot on as was the previous report.
And it is basically is a compilation of stories reported at some point by every Seattle media source if you don't want to believe KOMO (or your own eyes).

Are you saying that conservative ownership means everything on KOMO is a lie? If they say it will rain do you expect sunshine?
Does the Seattle Times imprimatur guarantee truth?

"seacove" Enough said.

Yes, because *Sinclair* said it, it’s 100% untrue and all the homeless and junkies littering the streets are simply holograms placed there by evil conservatives to discredit Seattle

As a pretty intense media watcher, I have noted that while Sinclair's KOMO does run the "Sinclair commentaries", it really isn't more or less conservative with actual local news than KIRO, KING and KCPQ. Even Sinclair will admit that for their Seattle property it makes more financial sense to reflect the community it serves, not reflect some mythical Sinclair policy.

A very accurate documentary when it comes to modern Seattle. I did not find it biased.
