Since I got my car in May 2021 I have been going to brown bear drive through tunnel car washes. In all honesty brown bear car washes are overpriced gas station drive through car washes. Everytime in leave brown bear my car doesn't come out that clean and often leaves brush marks on my car.

In Lynnwood,Washington there is a car wash I really like called mr.kleen drive through car wash that actually wipes down your windows when you leave the tunnel car wash. Mr.kleen also hasuch nicer and happier employees than brown bear.

Since I live in northgate seattle I haven't found much local competition besides brown bear. If brown bear opened up in Southern California and operated the way they do brown bear would be out of bussiness!!

I have read yelp and Google reviews of brown bear damaging parts of people's cars and being hostile about it and not reimbursing people for damage.

Here in the seattle area I haven't found the southern California car washes where you drive to am order taker hand off your keys and an attendant drives your car through the car wash. At the southern California car washes they vacuum and clean the inside of your car and when you get your car back the car wash employees clean the inside and outside of your car windows.

Brown bear now charges almost $20 for an exterior wash.

I notice that costco in Sodom seattle charges $7.99 for a drive through car wash.

Has anyone tried the Costco car wash??

On northgate way and the 5 freeway I notice the chevron gas station has a drive through car wash for half the price of brown bear.

Also the 76 gas station on aurora Ave and 205th street also has a drive through car wash for half the price of brown bear.

I'd like to find a new car wash besides brown bear if I can help it.

Does anyone have recommendations??

Brown near charges $3 for 5 minutes to use the self service vacuum for the inside of your car which is rediculious!!

$24.99 is what one wash costs. Maybe I should look into it.

I run my car through the Costco car wash on 4th Ave about once a week and have never had any damage. There is no attendant to hand dry your car afterward but the blowers do a good job of drying and you can wipe down the last few drops yourself with one towel. (I use a cotton diaper from our baby stash of twenty years.)

I am thinking about getting the interior of our car detailed either at Final Touch in Madison Park or Leschi Auto Salon. If anyone has experience with these two businesses, I would love to hear it.

Yes, just do the "Beary Good" basic drive through car wash option at Brown Bear, that's the one for $24.99 unlimited a month. You don't need all the other stuff. You can sign up at the machine next time you are there, I think it's a great value.

I prefer a touchless car wash, so I go to Clean Planet in Woodinville.
