This one is near Sea-Tac. There are other options if coming from the north or east.

You might try the Panama Hotel. It's an interesting place, very relaxed atmosphere. I've only been in the lobby. It is a climb for me up from Jackson St (only 2 blocks) because of my sciatica. It's also only a few blocks from Swedish but to get there its a real mountain climb (many many many stairs). Alternatively take the Broadway streetcar from Jackson St to Swedish.
No idea about dogs or parking. Not even sure if they are still in business.
HISTORIC PANAMA HOTEL TEA
GL
Wow, this looks interesting! And the OP will be with a car and driver to go back and forth to Swedish, so this is definitely doable!

Thanks! I might try this myself sometime. For tea, at least, if not for an affordable stay.

I will look into the Panama thanks. Unfortunately, my dog is a rescue who cannot tolerate boarding.

How is Motel 6 in the area? They accept dogs. As long as there are no bedbugs and my car is there in the a.m., I do not care what happens outside. I probably will not be sleeping, anyway, and it is very possible that I will be making even more than 2 trips, unfortunately.

Another idea. The Motel 6 near Seatac Airport is less than a mile to the light rail, which will take you quite close to First Hill Medical District. Here’s some info: https://www.motel6.com/en/home/motel...ttle.9458.html

Thanks for that suggestion. I looked there but the place was a little sketchy, I wouldn't have wanted to walk my dogs there after dark. I noticed they do have a shuttle to SEATAC & travelers can leave their car there, just FYI.

I ended up staying in Bellevue & had a short ride to Swedish, so it worked out. Kirkland Motel 6 would have been my 2nd choice.

Quality Inn, right next to a car dealership, which I appreciated when it was dog-walking time (bright lights, security guards) & no tweakers/homeless, etc. It's very close to freeway as well. It was more $ than I planned, but not much more than Motel 6. I would recommend them for someone with my predicament.
