Much appreciated. I try, but sometimes fail, to keep things civil and constructive. I take the OP’s post at face value that there’s some valid reason to not be vaccinated.

Thanks for the response. If you have any insight as to how they got the exemptions, please let me know. Most religious don't expressly prohibit vaccines, and most medical reasons also don't apply.

Thank you for the good faith assumption on that. I am not anti-vax, and have had every vax, even ones that were not mandatory like DTAP boosters, and fully vaccinated my family.

I had an odd thought and I wonder if it may help. If you have a medical reason to not get the vaccine, since you are applying to UW, if it came down to it, I wonder if you could get a ‘second opinion’ in writing from a UW doctor, and if that may smooth the way to an exemption, if that’s what it comes down to.

The idea being, you’d be working within their own system.
